Part 4.


1. Most of Koreans like kimchi.

   → Most Koreans (Most of the Koreans) like kimchi.    

      (Most Koreans - general idea / Most of the Koreans - narrow down the focus)

2. Especially, I'm interested in studying in the USA.

   → I'm especially interested in studying in the USA.

3. My father works hardly.

   → My father works hard.    (hardly work 는 '일을 거의 하지 않음'을 의미.)

4. Seeing too much TV is bad for your eyes. Not many teenagers hear records these days.

   → Watching too much TV is bad for your eyes. Not many teenagers listen to records these days.

5. I want to trip to Europe, but I don't have any money.

   → I want to take a trip to Europe (travel to Europe), ...

6. Let's go to the restroom and watch TV.

   → Let's go to the living room and watch TV.

7. I need to lose my weight.

   → I need to lose weight.

8. What you said wasn't nice. It hurt my mind.

   → It hurt my feeling.

9. This summer I'm going to Thailand. I'm really expecting it.

   → I'm really looking forward to it.   (expect : predict의 의미)

10. I drank too much soju and obaeet (overeat). 

   → I drank too much soju and threw up.
